<itunes:summary>Swoop’s World Radio is a Southern California Internet radio show that is equal parts arts, culture and party. Each week Swoop, Peter and the crew tap into the So Cal lifestyle with interviews of the unique personalities making news.

Guests have included politicians and community activists, independent filmmakers and Academy-award winning actress Yancy Butler, rock and roll icon Grace Slick and emerging indie musicians, authors, artists, Olympic athletes and more. The topics are as varied as the guest list, but the goal is always the same — to keep the conversation entertaining and the debates insightful.

After the interview, stick around for the ever-popular Brewskis! Swoop and Peter are joined by CLiv and TBone for a weekly on-air beer-tasting where the guys tell you what they really think about some of America's great (and not-so-great) craft beers. Peter lends his culinary acumen with a list of food paring ideas for each beer.

The party continues with TBone on Sports and Weird News of the Day. With "primetime" officially over, the guys get rough and rowdy. The comedic discussions go on late into the night or until the beer runs out.</itunes:summary>

But, what happens if you mix all four? A new collaboration in Long Beach thinks that culture and cake just might be the recipe for radio success.

We are teaming up with LB Food Review, a couple of light-hearted critics intent on eating their way through the best restaurants of Long Beach. Together we will produce bi-monthly segments about the local restaurant and bar scene that will air exclusively on Swoop’s World.

Talk show hosts Swoop Lewis and Peter Dopulos announced the partnership with Taylor Nelson and Chris Livingston, saying that the first LB Food Review spot on Swoop’s World will launch Wednesday, March 31.

“It just seems like the perfect mix,” said Swoop host of the show. “We were already looking to incorporate a lifestyle focus to our show. Taylor and Chris are already out there doing something really cool in the community.”

Co-host Peter agreed, adding, “When we met the guys I knew we would do something together, we are all out there trying to do the same thing—spread the word about Long Beach—and we all had this good vibe going on.”

The addition of the LB Food Review segment will fit right in with the already wide range of topics Swoop’s World tackles weekly. Past shows have included interviews with political candidates and community leaders, artists, musicians, and others.

When asked about the new partnership, Chris said, “It’s just a natural fit. Swoop’s World and LB Food Review both aim to spread the word and support the local businesses of the city of Long Beach. I’m amazed we didn’t run into each other sooner.”

“We are very excited to bring our focus on Long Beach’s food culture to the Swoop’s World listeners,” Taylor stated. “The art and live music scene of Long Beach is so intertwined with the bars and restaurants of the city that we feel we have a lot to contribute.”

Taylor and Chris founded LB Food Review in 2008 to express their dedication to the community spirit of Long Beach. They are both passionate supporters of the movement to discover and support the unique local culture of the Long Beach area through its restaurants and eateries. It all started with the online publication http://www.lbfoodreview.com but it encompasses much more than just a website. LB Food Review is about meeting the neighbors that share a passion for this city and what it has to offer, hosting gatherings at local favorites across the culinary and geographic landscape of Long Beach. Whether they are awarding the Readers’ Choice for Best Breakfast, organizing a pub crawl in one of Long Beach’s distinct neighborhoods, or simply dropping in on a family-owned trattoria with 40 of their closest friends, LB Food Review aims to get the people of Long Beach to enjoy their city together.
